Futurity nominations are DUE JULY 15th, 2008, if you intend to show your foal at the 2008 show.

Nominations for all other foals not being shown in 2008 will be accepted without penalty until December 31st, 2008.

JUBILEE FUTURITY NOMINATION PROCEDURES

Sire:

1. The stallion must be registered with the AMHA.

2. A fee of $100 must be paid on or before July 15, 2008 and will make all foals of that year sired by the stallion eligible for nomination into the Futurity.

Weanling:

1. A fee of $50 must be paid on or before July 15, 2008 to be eligible to show.

2. Sire must be nominated to the Futurity for the year the foal is born.

3. Dam must be nominated to the Futurity for the year the foal is born.

4. A weanling year penalty fee of $25 will be assessed for each weanling nominated after December 31, 2008.

Yearling:

1. A fee of $50 must be paid on or before July 15, 2008 in order to be eligible to show in the yearling division, or to keep the yearling eligible to compete in the futurity in subsequent years.

2. A yearling year penalty of $50 will be assessed for each yearling nominated after July 15, 2008.

3. Any yearling being nominated to the Futurity for the first time must also pay a stallion nomination fee of $100 if the stallion was not nominated in the year the yearling was born.

4. Any yearling being nominated to the futurity for the first time must also pay dam nomination fee of $25 if the dam was not nominated in the year the yearling was born.

Two Year Old:

1. A fee of $50 per class must be paid on or before July 15, 2008 in order to be eligible to show in the two year old division. If you do not wish to show your two year old, but wish to keep it eligible to participate in the futurity the following year, a minimum nomination fee of $50 applies.

2. A two year old year penalty of $100 will be assessed for each two year old nominated after July 15, 2008.

3. Any two year old being nominated to the Futurity for the first time must also pay stallion nomination fee of $100 if the stallion was not nominated in the year the two year old was born.

4. Any two year old being nominated to the futurity for the first time must also pay dam nomination fee of $25 if the dam was not nominated in the year the two year old was born.

5. Applicants in this division may choose to show in Park Harness, Pleasure Driving and/or Two Year Old Mares In Hand or Two Year Old Stallions/Geldings in Hand. Class numbers must also be entered on the Jubilee Horse Show entry form, although fees are to be paid with the Futurity nomination form, not the Show Entry form. Jubilee Show entries are due by July 16, 2007.

Three Year Old:

1. A fee of $50 per class must be paid on or before July 15, 2008 in order to be eligible to show in the three year old division.

2. A three year old year penalty of $200 will be assessed for each three year old nominated after July 15, 2008.

2. Any three year old being nominated to the Futurity for the first time must also pay the stallion nomination fee of $100 if the stallion was not nominated in the year the three year old was born.

3. Any three year old being nominated to the Futurity for the first time must also pay the dam nomination fee of $25 if the dam was not nominated the year the foal was born.

4. Applicants in this division may choose to show in Park Harness, Park Saddle, Pleasure Driving, English Pleasure, Classic Pleasure Saddle, Classic Pleasure Driving, Hunter Pleasure and/or Western Pleasure. Class numbers must also be entered on the Jubilee Horse Show entry form, although fees are to be paid with the Futurity nomination form, not the Show Entry form. Jubilee Show entries are due by July 16, 2007.

HOW TO FIGURE BACK NOMINATIONS:

Example #1: If you wish to show a two year old who has never before been futurity nominated, but the sire was nominated the year the foal was born, and you are sending your entries in prior to July 15, 2008, the following fees apply:

• $50 for every class you in which you wish to show the two year old
• $50 yearling nomination fee
• $50 yearling late nomination penalty fee
• $50 weanling nomination fee
• $25 weanling late nomination penalty fee
• TOTAL: $225

Example #2: If you wish to show a three year old who has never before been futurity nominated, and the sire was not nominated the year the foal was born, and you are sending your entries in prior to July 15, 2008, the following fees apply:

• $50 for every class you in which you wish to show the three year old
• $100 sire fee
• $50 two year old nomination fee
• $100 two year old late nomination penalty fee
• $50 yearling nomination fee
• $50 yearling late nomination penalty fee
• $50 weanling nomination fee
• $25 weanling late nomination penalty fee
• TOTAL: $475

Example #3: If you wish to show a three year old who has never before been futurity nominated, and the sire was not nominated the year the foal was born, and you are sending your entries in after July 15, 2008, the following fees apply:

• $50 for every class you in which you wish to show the three year old
• $100 sire fee
• $150 three year old late nomination penalty fee
• $50 two year old nomination fee
• $100 two year old late nomination penalty fee
• $50 yearling nomination fee
• $50 yearling late nomination penalty fee
• $50 weanling nomination fee
• $25 weanling late nomination penalty fee
• TOTAL: $675

Example #4: If you wish to show a three year old who was futurity nominated as a weanling and yearling, but missed the two year old year, and you are sending your entries in before July 15, 2008, the following fees apply:

• $50 for every class you in which you wish to show the three year old
• $50 two year old nomination fee
• $100 two year old late nomination penalty fee
• TOTAL: $200

PRIZE FUND

The value of the Prize Fund of the Futurity each year will be the total of monies paid in nomination fees and added donations, less operating expenses and promotion. Each year, the cost of specific awards will be deducted from the Prize Fund among the four regular divisions of the Futurity. The remaining funds not awarded will be paid back to winners as a bonus in championship classes.

AWARDS

All nomination fees from the current year will be divided equally among the four age groups for distribution. Prize money will be distributed over six placings, with the remaining two placings receiving ribbons only. The payback percentages for the classes are listed below:

In the event a class does not fill down to sixth place, the leftover premium money will be placed into a bonus fund, which will be redistributed to all placing horses in the current year's futurity using these same percentages above.

LIABILITY

No entry is liable for more than the amount paid in, but there will be no return of payment unless the showing of the Futurity is cancelled in any or all divisions. The Jubilee Morgan Horse Breeders Futurity is not liable for any accidents, theft or losses incurred as a result of participation in the Futurity.

FEES

All Futurity payments for entries to be shown must be made to the Jubilee Morgan Horse Breeders Futurity Secretary on or before July 15, 2008, or the horse may not be shown. NO POST ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE HORSE SHOW. All eligible Futurity entries must be made on the official Jubilee Regional Championship Morgan Horse Show entry blank and submitted to the show secretary by July 16, 2008. Entries will be verified by Show Secretary from list provided by Futurity Secretary based on nominations received by July 15, 2008.

2007 PRIZE MONEY TO BE AWARDED
